Does your church ban gay marriage? Then it should start paying taxes.

We’ll let you practice your bigotry, at least within the confines of your own church. But we’re not about to reward you for doing so.

  1. Charles says:

Mr. Salmon…Let me see…where to begin…1) The Government is not subsidizing anything….the government does not pay the mortgage of a church, the light bill, etc. If you had your way and the church tax exempt status was revoked, then the government would still NOT get that 71 billion that you claim…2) You cry that the church is trying to force their views on everyone…pray tell if a church does not conform to the LGBT view and then is penalized for that, how is that any different?…3) Everyone knows that same-sex marriage was NOT the end game, but rather destroying Christianity is the end game…the LGBT crowd KNOWS that TRUE Christians will NEVER accept or condone this evil lifestyle and will continue to speak out against it, therefore the LGBT crowd will never feel “normal” because they aren’t and Christians will be a constant reminder of that fact…crawl back under that European rock that you crawled out from under…
