    The point is exactly the opposite of your title! Sex is not the determining factor, life choices are the determining factors. Your data doesn’t even control for hours worked, years intentionally taken off to take care of family, etc.

    It sounds just like a very traditionalist economist to be complaining about how women don’t seek higher paychecks and mess up your model.

    Rethink your life.
